Overview
We are seeking a skilled Database Developer / Architect to join our team. TS required, Secret with interim TS acceptable. Position will by hybrid with on-site requirements for team collaboration in Orlando, FL or Colorado Springs, CO

Duties
– Support of Design Engineering by performing design activities to analyze and refine requirements using various methodologies throughout the lifecycle of the system
– Maintain and update the Common Database and the Database Design Description
– Monitor the database performance and provide recommendations for improvement or when new tables are to be designed; new data elements or when unused tables are to be retired without any operational impact
– Focus areas within the Design Engineering includes engineering assessment, pilots and initiatives, modeling and simulation, and systems analysis and investigation.
– Work in an Agile environment to deliver solutions efficiently – backlog items will be assigned to individual staff as sprint or Kanban tasks that include definition of done and acceptance criteria for task completion.

Experience
– Strong experience with databases, Oracle, Postgres, SQL, and database design
– Proficiency in Visual Studio
– SATCOM Background
– Ability to work in Agile environment
– Degree in engineering, computer science, or related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
