Requirements:
Manage and maintain the Joint Network Node (JNN) and Satellite Transportable Terminal (STT) in support of JRTC rotational training.
Configure, manage, and maintain the Network Operations (NetOps) Virtual Switching System (VSS); Virtual Machines (VM); routers; switches; firewalls; Cisco Call Manger (CCM); Solaris NetFlow and various other servers; monitoring tools; equipment and software in support of JRTC rotational mission requirements.
Conduct upper Tactical Internet (TI) network analysis and troubleshooting in support of JRTC rotational mission requirements.
Provide Network Management guidance and recommendations to Brigade and Battalion level Network Technicians.
Coordinate Satellite Access Requests (SAR) and Joint Integrated SATCOM Tool (JIST). Provide coordination with Regional Hub Nodes (RHN) and unit hub nodes to meet mission requirements. Plan, coordinate and schedule Joint Training Experiential Network (JTEN) missions.
Conduct monthly Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Nessus scans; conduct quarterly Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) updates IAW DoD Information Systems Standards and DISA policies.
Conduct and report Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) for all JNN, STT, and NetOps equipment.
Qualifications
Security clearance or must be able to obtain a security clearance.
CompTIA Security+ CE required.
